If a person has 'Grahan Dosh', "Chandra Grahan" in his birth chart i.e. there is a conjunction of Rahu or Ketu planet with Sun or Chandra planet, then according to astrology, such a person should worship Lord Shiva and chant “Mahamrityunjaya Mantra”. Chant and offer water on “Shivalinga”.

So that the person will get freedom from the defect of solar eclipse, along with this, the inauspicious effects of solar eclipse can also be eliminated by worshiping the Sun God and offer water in a copper pot to the rising sun and reciting “Aditya Hridaya Stotra”.
