About Maharshi Parasuram Jayanti 2025

Parashurama is the Sixth Incarnation of Vishnu

Shiva advised him to go and free Mother Earth from goons, people with bad conduct, extremists, demons, and people blinded by ego. Parashurama, a Brahmin born to Jamadagni(जमदग्नि) and Renuka, was prophesied to appear at a time when extreme evil was rampant on earth. The Kshatriya class, with weapons and power, started abusing their power, taking away by force the things of others and oppressing people.
