Raja Sankranti (ରଜ ସଙ୍କ୍ରାନ୍ତୀ) also called as Mithun Sankranti come after the Pahili Raja(ପହିଲି ରଜ), the second day of Raja Parba. After just Sankranti, the next day known as “Bhu Daha(ଭୁ ଦାହ )” or Basi Raja.
On the day of Raja Sankranti, people go to the temple, mostly Shiva temple and worship lord Shiva and Parvati. They also donate food grains to the poor, feed cows and domestic animals surrounded by their house.
