Significance of Shanti Path

The shanti path is a mantra for peace, harmony and happiness. It’s a Vedic mantra and typically chanted at the beginning of class and may again be chanted at the end. The mantra establishes the yoga shala as a sacred space of peace and learning and invites peace to rain down upon those who practice yoga there.

When Shanti is chanted first time, it purifies the body and relieves it from the sufferings, diseases and discomforts. The body is thus refreshed. When you chant it for the second time, an incomparable feeling of peace lands on the mind and the mind is relieved of its negative feelings, worries, stresses, and tensions.

“Shanti Path” is a sacred vedic prayer for universal peace, harmony, and tranquillity, typically recited to start or conclude rituals, yoga sessions, or to calm the mind.

Shanti Path is Dreived from Yajur Veda and Rig Veda

This Shanti Path Mantra is derived from the Yajur Veda and Rig Veda, this mantra’s significance is very high, if it is chanted then all types of obstacles, temporary spiritual connection from that place will be removed forever, and bring peace in the people’s life, environment, and universe.

Just like we have mantras for different Gods and occasions, it is also said that there are some mantras, chanting which can be of great benefit to have a good night's sleep. Chanting those mantras before bedtime helps calm the mind, ease anxiety, and invite positive energy into the subconscious mind.
