Significance of Buddha Purnima
Vesak, a Buddhist festival also known as Buddha Jayanti or Buddha Purnima, and Buddha Day, is a festival or holiday traditionally celebrated by Buddhists. It is one of the most important Buddhist festivals. This festival commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death of Gautama Buddha in Theravada.
